ABOUT HAZ:

1. How is HAZ different from the other international HIV/AIDS organizations?


• HAZ is the only trans-continental HIV/AIDS organization, started by Zimbabweans, and run by Zimbabweans, with the aim of supporting other Zimbabweans.
  
2. How is HAZ different from the many other HIV/AIDS organizations in Zimbabwe?
• HAZ is the only Zimbabwean HIV/AIDS organization directly recruiting the participation of Zimbabweans in Zimbabwe and in the Diaspora, to work together in addressing HIV/AIDS issues pertinent to Zimbabweans worldwide.   
  
• HAZ aims to advance Zimbabwe's HIV/AIDS campaign by recognizing the excellent work already being done by the many Zimbabwean and international organizations, and forming strategic partnerships aimed at addressing the unfulfilled gaps in Zimbabwe's HIV/AIDS campaign.
  
• HAZ is the only Zimbabwean organization providing broad coverage of all aspects of HIV/AIDS, on one easy to find, and easy to use platform.
• HAZ is the only Zimbabwean organization aiming to bridge the communication gap between Zimbabwe's HIV/AIDS experts and professionals, and the ordinary Zimbabwean citizens.
• HAZ is the only Zimbabwean organization aiming to provide HIV/AIDS support services to non-Zimbabweans outside of Zimbabwe, with the understanding that the HIV/AIDS crisis is not just a Zimbabwean problem, but a global crisis.
  
3. Can I get a job with HAZ?
• No.  But you can get an opportunity to serve through HAZ.  HAZ is a non-profit charity organization, so we discourage people from thinking of HAZ as an employment opportunity.  You will be compensated for your time and expenses while serving through HAZ (whenever funding allows for it), but we like our staff to think of themselves as volunteers serving Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans. 
  
4. Is HAZ funded?
• HAZ is not currently externally funded.  All HAZ expenses are met out of pocket by HAZ personnel, out of their desire to contribute to Zimbabwe's and the global HIV/AIDS campaign.
  
5. What does HAZ have planned for the future?
• A lot!!  But the successful translation of our ideas into practical missions will depend upon your support and participation.  HAZ is about Zimbabweans working together to make a difference for their future.  So get involved.
